From Blank Board to Branded Product
Private labeling a wooden product is mostly a matter of four decisions: the branding method, the finish, the packaging, and the order volume. Getting these right early avoids costly re-runs. Here is how we handle each for B2B partners.
1. Branding Methods
We support four marking techniques, each suited to a different look and budget:
- Laser engraving — permanent, precise, ideal for logos and fine text. No ink, fully food-safe.
- Silk screen — best for 1–2 color logos on flat surfaces; economical at volume.
- Branding iron — a burned-in mark with a handcrafted feel; popular on boards and trays.
- UV print — full-color graphics for gift and promotional lines.
2. Finishes & Food Safety
All food-contact items are finished with FDA- and EU-compliant food-safe oils or hardwax oils. We do not use leaded paints or unknown lacquers. For outdoor or pet lines we can upgrade to a water-resistant sealer on request.
3. MOQ & Lead Time
Standard MOQ is 500 units per SKU, with a 25–35 day production window after sample approval. New molds or custom hardware start at 1,000 units. Mixed-SKU containers are supported to help smaller brands hit container load efficiently.
| Stage | Typical Time |
|---|---|
| Artwork review | 1–2 days |
| Sample (proto) | 3–5 days |
| Bulk production | 25–35 days |
| QC + FBA prep | 3–5 days |
4. Packaging Options
Choose from bulk cartons, individual kraft boxes, or retail-ready display boxes. We handle FBA labeling and can print your UPC and FNSKU directly on the carton.
